System 3 seemed to have the ability to produce quality software for the Commodore 64 time and time again. Last Ninja 2 is no exception and carried on from where the first instalment left off. With it’s crisp and clear graphics, and fine sonix, Last Ninja 2 was going to be yet another massive hit for the guys at System 3. And now comes the ending …
Now all you need to do is put the Orb back into the Safe.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Hmmm … I’m thinking that Matt cheated on this one because I know how much of a cheat he actually is 😉
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: To complete the game, you need to be holding a shuriken. When you’re ready, take the orb from the safe. As soon as you take it, the shogun comes at you – you need to hit him with a shuriken and be sure he falls inside the pentangle. As soon as he’s hit you have to RAPIDLY light the 5 candles on each point of the pentangle. If you manage to light all 5 before the shogun’s energy returns, he’ll be trapped. You then need to return the orb to the safe.
COMMENTS: This is kind of two endings in one! The first part shows the final boss being defeated and vanishing away; and the second part comprises of the ending message and winking/blinking ninja. All in all, it’s a pretty good ending that deserves some recognition.
FINAL SAY: It’s a good ending and well worth a look.
