After the War is another boring title by Dinamic Software. This post-apocalyptic game is split over two short levels, and your aim is to survive the hordes of mutants that attack you as you walk through this side-scrolling action game. The graphics are good, the sound is good but the game is very boring. The best thing about it is the large gun that you have on level two, which you can aim and fire in many directions – but that doesn’t make up for the lack of gameplay. This game could have been so much better.
The final stage is complete…
The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Using an infinite lives and energy cheat.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: At the end of the level two, you get to fight a robot. Once it has been blown to bits the game ends. A small message saying ‘TO BE CONTINUED’ is displayed and the game freezes.
Neil: This game is a waste of code. It is poor from start to finish. The ending is a shocker. Forget about this one guys… It stinks. 1/10.
Vinny: The game stinks and the ending stinks! 0.5/10.
Gaz Spence: My gosh, that is a wretched ending. I can’t bring to mind a good Dinamic ending but this one might just be the worst of the lot.
Brendan Phoenix: This is a shocker. I had it on the Amiga and it played like a dog plus it had horrible washed out ST graphics. Now we know it doesn’t even have a half decent ending to redeem it.
Andrew Fisher: The Spanish liked their games tough, obviously. And an undynamic ending.
FINAL SAY: What a surprise! A crap game with a crap end!
