Havoc (not to be confused with the one created by Dynavision Productions in 1984) is a decent horizontally scrolling shoot-em-up. You control a helicopter through three levels of chaos. The graphics are great and it plays quite well, but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. Does it have an ending though?
Game complete.
The End.
Neil: Using an infinite lives cheat
Vinny: I hacked the ending with the following cheat:
– Load and start the game
– Freeze it using an Action Replay Cartridge
– Change the value of $CE04 to $02
– Then type ‘G 3538’, which jumps you to location $3538.
I have also produced a crazy hack for this game that adds various new features, and one of them includes jumping straight to the game ending 🙂 You can download the crazy hack from  www.hackersoft.co.uk.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once the final airplane at the end of the last level is destroyed, you have to land the helicopter on the runway. A short congratulations message is displayed on the screen in white text before the game loops back to the start.
Vinny: What a waste of time. I’ve feel cheated. I want a refund.
Brendan Phoenix: You could replace the game title in that ending screen and replace it with any of a hundred games. Endings like this really stink.
Andy Vaisey: Yyyyyaaaaaawwwwwwwwnnnnnnn…….. … . . zzz zZZzzz zz z z…… … .. . .
Inge Pedersen: Looks like just another SEUCK Game with the standard SEUCK Ending.
Andrew Fisher: Hmm, a look at the code may tell if it is based around SEUCK. I quite like the silly FANFARE! PARP! RAH RAH bit of the message, but still only worth a 1/10.
FINAL SAY: Oh well… the less said the better about this one.

G.E. RATING: 1 / 10
