I remember the first time I played this game: I worked as a Sales Assistant in the local computer game shop. It was an independent shop and the manager used to spend all the profits on booze at the end of every day. The b’stard still owes me £27.00! Anyway, back to the story … I was really impressed with what I saw and I was a little upset to see that ZZAP64 magazine only game it 72%. I think it’s a fab game – though a little tough in places – and well worth playing over and over again.
Thanks to Inge for sending in the game ending …
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Looks like Inge used an infinite lives and energy cheat, and also a FANTASTIC walkthrough map produced by Richard Mace (Richard’s map can be downloaded from HERE).
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Jack walks into the final room to see a load of pygmies and a grey version of himself. There is a strange sound effect in the background and that’s it.
Vinny: Hmmm … this ending is visually telling a story, but because I haven’t read the game instructions, I am not too sure as to what’s going on. It’s very quick, and really could have done with a great ending tune from Ben, along with a proper explanation to the ending.
FINAL SAY: Don’t blink; you’ll miss it!
