When Hi-Tec initially started to release the Hanna-Barbera games I was impressed and wouldn’t think twice about purchasing the latest release for my C64 collection. Further down the line, the releases seemed to become a little stale and repetitive, which was a real shame because I felt that there were many more things that Hi-Tec could have achieved with the H.B. license. Still, it was refreshing to have a licensed game for a mere £2.99 🙂
Yogi’s Great Escape is a sweet little platformer with acceptable graphics and sound, but it does become a little frustrating and repetitive as you play through the game. But what can you expect for £2.99…
Anyway, on with the game ending …
The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Thanks to a trainer by Mr. Fox, I was able to skip through the levels without having to play a single bit of the game. RESULT!
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once the game is complete, the word ‘CONGRATULATIONS’ is elevated to the top of the screen by three balloons, and a short game ending ditty is played.
Vinny: It really isn’t anything to write home about, but in fairness, it does have a nice, but very short, ending tune (Julian Potts has saved the ending from having a VERY low score). The ending could have done with an ending storyline and possibly some animation – not forgetting a longer tune 😉
FINAL SAY: Just listen to the quick tune (“.)
