Sabre Wulf is an action adventure game by Ultimate/Firebird. This is a classic Spectrum title, which looks and plays in similar fashion on the C64. You control the sabre man explorer, who’s mission is to locate and collect the four parts of the amulet, which are hidden within the jungle maze, and then take it to the cave located in the centre of the jungle. You have to battle all kinds of jungle beasts on the way with your sword. There are tons of extra goodies scattered around the jungle, including lots of extra lives which come in very handy.

Fair enough.
The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Using an infinite lives cheat.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you reach the cave with the four pieces of the amulet, you can finally enter it and complete the game. You get a small message that tells you to look out for the next sabre man game called ‘Underwurlde’. A game over message is then displayed along with a percentage score, which represents the amount of the jungle you explored during the game. The game then restarts.
COMMENTS: Very bad indeed. The picture of the complete amulet is better than the ending itself.
FINAL SAY: A classic game with a shockingly bad ending.
