Okay, so you’d think that a Lucasfilms Game would achieve a high game score rating, but strangely enough, Labyrinth only received a 50 percent overall score from ZZAP64 magazine. Was it really that bad? Well no – it wasn’t. Okay, so it wasn’t a perfect game by any means, but it deserved a little more recognition. Saying that, here’s the totally crap ending … 🙂

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Brendan isn’t one for cheating if he can play all the way through the game. I somehow think he cheated on this one … or at least he had a sneaky peek at the walkthrough 🙂
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: You get the screen shot shown above, and a strange and cacky ending tune.
COMMENTS: A Shocking ending – both Brendan and I had high hopes for this – especially as its a Lucasfilm game. It really is a piece of cack and both Brendan and I have agreed on the final score.
FINAL SAY: David Bowie really fluff this one up :/

G.E. RATING: 1.5 / 10

One Response to Labyrinth by Activision

  1. Wow. I had never heard of this one before. An adaptation of the film sounds like a fascinating idea for a classic graphic / point and click adventure, but as for one that pays lip service to the film and drops Sarah in favour of some nondescript male protagonist (with a “cute girl” to motivate his quest, Lord help us…), I can live without it. Just as well, since this is certainly an anticlimax and a half.
