This is the ending to a lesser known game released in later part of C64’s. Kangarudy is a very difficult game that needed nerves of steel. The multi-loading did not help either. The presentation throughout the game was top-notch and done with good humour.
Kanga makes it back to Australia and is greeted by fellow kangaroos cheering!
The boat sails past the island.
Kanga does not seem to care less though and has other things on his mind with the beauty Miss Kanga! The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: I used the passwords provided in Tropic crack. There was no way I was going to play through this nerve killer! 🙂
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you complete the final stage, you see Kanga reaching Australia. Kanga is greeted by fellow kangaroos and a Miss Kanga in whom Kanga seems fairly interested. A boat passes Kanga at the beach. Same music as in the title screen starts playing. The scene is then focused in a heart shape with Kanga and Miss Kanga deeply staring into each other’s eyes. There is no music on this scene.
COMMENTS: It’s an okay kind of ending. I was expecting more from this game as otherwise the presentation in the game is top-notch. Also, the game is quite hard, so something a little better was earned by anyone who went through this atrocity without cheats!
FINAL SAY: It’s an okay ending to a very hard game.

G.E. RATING: 6 / 10
