We finally complete the trilogy of Back to the Future game endings with the third instalment, aptly named, Back to the Future 3.
The BTTF games have gone through some ups and downs, receiving some really low scores for 1 and 2, to a respectable 81% score for the third and final instalment.
Back to the Future 3 has been coded well by Simon Nichol and features some great graphics and music to boot. So what of the ending; is it any good?
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: I think Brendan cheated all the way to the end 😉
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once the final level has been completed, we see an image of the DeLorean hitting 88 miles per hour and the words, “YEAH” across the screen.
The epilogue then begins and reads: “WELL DONE!! YOU’VE SUCCEEDED IN HELPING MARTY GET BACK TO THE FUTURE. YOUR FUTURE HASN’T BEEN WRITTEN YET. NO ONE’S HAS. YOUR FUTURE IS WHATEVER YOU MAKE OF IT. SO MAKE IT A GOOD ONE. ALL OF YOU.“
The ending is accompanied by the BTTF3 theme tune.
Vinny: I actually like this ending; I know is isn’t brilliant, but it’s kind of cool. The music is fab and the epilogue is fitting.
FINAL SAY: A nice little ending.
